Christian Atkinson
Born 1939. Grandson of Lawrence Atkinson (signatory of the original Vorticist Manifesto in Blast), Christian is as much a committed Vorticist as his Grandfather. Christian started working as a Vorticist Artist in the 1970's, and most recent works involve three dimensional structures that have a dynamic yet monumental theme, often displaying a clear familial tie with his Grandfathers' work. He has recently had a successful exhibition at Thornham Magna in the Thornham Estate, Suffolk. He is now planning the next series of sculptures in wood and stone. He lives and works in Attleborough, Norfolk. Below are some pictures of his current work. If you are interested in purchasing his work, please email.
