The main aim of this site is to provide information about a little-known but highly influencial art movement that flowered for a brief period in London in 1914.

Technical Details

The site uses the XHTML Transitional 1.0 standard.
Arial Black has been chosen as the main font because it is closest in character to the Stephenson, Blake Grotesque No 9 used in the original manifestos (and will be present on most visitor's PCs or Macs).
The background I use on most pages is a repeated tile made from a small scan of the puce cover of an original BLAST.
