Exhibition
Vorticism was born in June 1914, and limped through the first world war, until it was superseded by Lewis's 'Group X' of 1918. Therefore Vorticism only knew three months of peacetime. Here in the Exhibition pages, we will view a selection of the works that were created at this time, including those that predate the actual formation of the Vorticist group, but which can be regarded retrospectively as proto-Vorticist works.
